 - PARTICIPATION AND ACHIEVEMENT OF TESTS

 

Inter laboratory testing campaigns, organized by the ATILH or SNL, allowed the prepa-ration of reference materials. European laboratories of cement Industry, users of cement, Research and control Centres in the field of construction materials, have participated in these campaigns.

The analysed materials are of powder type, cement and alumina. The physical and chemical properties measured are :

- Fineness and particle size measured with laser
- Chemical composition

 

 - DATA ANALYSIS

Outliers are eliminated via the STUDENT’s test with a confidence level of 98 %. A reiteration is set at this threshold in order to keep only those values which are related to the “Normal or Gaussian” distribution, the latter being entirely defined by 2 parameters: mean and standard deviation.
